About the Item
Magnificent vitrine produced and signed by Anonima Castelli, this unique piece was custom made in Italy in the 1950s for a an important notary office in Rome, as shown in the label on the back.
This marvelous piece is fully made in wood of oustanding quality. The two doors are enriched with stunning gilt metal decorations. It features two shelves, the top one can be moved to different heights. Even the shelf brass stops are engraved with the Castelli name.
The contrast between the beautiful wood used and the gilt metal decoration make this vitrine incredibly charming and the attention to the smallest details is a perfect example of fine Italian mid-century craftsmanship.
A marvellous and versatile object, perfect for a Mid-Century style project.
