About the Item

An elegant and high quality French 18th century Regence period Kingwood, ormolu, and brass cabinet vitrine. The vitrine is raised by scalloped shaped supports and a straight base with a mottled brass band. At the center are two doors, each retaining their original glass panes framed within a finely detailed wrap around foliate band with a striking richly chased seashell and acanthus leaf reserve.
