French 19th Century Free Standing Vitrine/ Display Cabinet, Edwards and Roberts

About the Item

A very good quality late 19th century French mahogany free standing oval vitrine, having a gilded ormolu gallery to the top and foliate mounts to the pelmet. Bowed glass panels to all sides, a single door opening to reveal glass shelves within. A single frieze drawer, raised on four turned stop fluted legs, united by two oval shelves, terminating in turned tapering feet with ormolu mounts. After 'Francoise Linke' Retailed by; Edwards and Roberts.
