Moveis Cimo, Bookcase/ Vitrine, C. 1960, Brazilian Design

About the Item

Wooden bookcase by Imbuia's wood, an exotic species of Brazil very appreciated for its warm natural hue and the finesse of its grain. This room has two sliding doors in Imporia wood and opalescent glass. The handles are created from notches cut from wood, which is a characteristic of the style of the Moveis Cimo workshop, which has made a name for itself in Brazilian modernist design thanks to the lightness of its creations and the quality of its finishes. This bookcase opens onto three height-adjustable wooden shelves, and rests on four rectangular legs that visually lighten the structure. Keeps the original label of the Moveis Cimo workshop and the Brazilian national furniture heritage brochure. This beautiful bookcase is in a great state of conservation. She was reverberated to Brazil. Contains the original keys.
