This armoire features a variety of woods that have been taken back to their raw grain and color and then finished with an organic LED certified oil finish that enhances the beauty of the natural wood without modifying the color. Carbon Foot Print Mission Statement:
We are an ecologically minded company that believes in recycling as a means of reducing the global carbon footprint. Whether we are restoring period antiques of exceptional quality to most exacting standers or re-finishing antiques that have been abused and are no longer marketable our end game is to recycle our finds back into circulation to save the forest and carbon producing energy that it takes to produce new furniture. Whenever possible we use LED certified organic finishing materials such as tung oil. We never us lacquer or other toxic environmentally harmful finishes and when plywood is required we only use American sourced Columbia forest products that are made without formaldehyde. We re-purpose old wood whenever possible to integrate into our projects or source wood from small mills that get their timber from private homeowners that usually have trees cut down for safety reasons or new construction.
