19th Century Robson & Sons Closet

About

We present you a closet signed by Robson & Sons of Newcastle on Tyne, dated the late 19th century. This case piece of furniture is composed of a base with a deep socle drawer and a three-door upper section, which is topped with a simple cornice. There is a mirror closed in an arch on the central leaf. The side leaves cannot be opened and are fixed permanently to the main body. What creates the decorative element on the fronts are fillet stripes and a diamond inlay. Inside the closet, there is a brass rod for clothes and a row of hooks, which are fixed to the rear. Presented piece of furniture has not undergone renovation and in very good condition.
