Antique French Large Louis XV Walnut Armoire, c1700's Restored Pierced Fretwork

About the Item

Antique Large Walnut French Armoire from the 1700's. Louis XV, ruled as King of France from 1715, until 1774. Over the years, we have imported some pretty spectacular Antique French Louis XV Armoires, but few finer than this example. The interior of this French Louis XV Armoire, was used to hide an unsightly television, but the workmanship was executed so nice, that we thought we would leave it alone, unless the purchaser would like us to remove it. This particular Antique Louis XV Armoire, was crafted from the finest French Walnut and still retains it’s original 18th century lock set. Beautifully carved and with an incredible Patina, that is virtually impossible to copy, this Antique French Louis XV Armoire is simply one of the finest French Armoires we have ever owned. I think what really sets this Louis XV Armoire apart, could be a blend of sunlight and the natural warmth of the French Walnut itself.
