Italian Faux Finished Polychrome Armadio Cabinet

About the Item

Known as an armadio, this Italian wardrobe has a painted faux finish consisting of cream and blue striations over a gray background. The upper body is topped by a crenelated crown beneath several ogee moldings. All three doors feature rectangular carvings with canted corners surrounded by molding. Similar motifs can be found on the vertical mullions that flank all three doors. The right door opens to reveal a four-shelved compartment with a blue-gray interior. Another compartment with a hanging rod can be found behind the double doors to the left. Slender molding separates the upper and lower bodies, which have been carved and painted identically. The three doors of the lower body open to reveal a single, wide compartment above shaped bracket feet beneath the apron with multiple layers of molding. Our decorative Italian polychrome armadio cabinet can be used as a wardrobe or storage solution in any bedroom of the house. It could also be used in a living area or as a kitchen piece.
