About the Item

Large French baker's bread cart, provenance from a boulangerie in the southwest of France. Wonderfully distressed and full of character, this basket was used to carry the freshly baked baguettes from the bakery to the shop front. Versatile and practical this mid-century trolley, in tubular steel and latticework with a slatted wooden base on multidirectional wheels and can be used indoors or out. Great for storage of toys, firewood, linens, towels etc. With the addition of a wooden or glass top (not supplied), it could also serve as a moveable table.
