Inlaid New England Federal Period Candle Stand
About the Item
a spider ready to spring. The top is mahogany with a crotch birch inlay. The post is carved and mahoganized birch and the legs are cherry. Just a really nice example of high style country furniture that New England craftsmen excelled at.
