About the Item
Inspired by the clean, simple lines of Shaker pedestal tables, the Little Dume table is ideal for any small space that could use a little extra counter surface. Create a breakfast nook in an empty corner of the kitchen with one and a couple of our Hana dining chairs, for instance. The pedestal base's minimal design provides plenty of leg room while also allowing seating to be stowed almost completely below the table top.
Each of our pedestal tables begin with a stack of carefully chosen walnut. Every board is milled and all the joinery cut in our downtown Los Angeles shop. They are finished with a blend of natural oils and waxes that wear into a rich patina over time.
This piece is available in walnut, white oak, or cherry and custom sizes may be requested.

West of Noble
West of Noble is a Los Angeles based design practice dedicated to the pursuit of making wooden furniture by hand. It was founded by designer and itinerant woodworker Greg Mitchell in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2011, but is inspired by a lifetime of travel, time spent on the sea, various odd jobs, wooden sailboats, and friends and family; without whom the company would not exist. Our designs are guided by the making process, and the unpredictable nature of our chosen material. We aim for the simplest line in each piece, believing it is only finished when there is nothing left to take away.
