This is an antique display table. An English, walnut tilt-top hallway centre table, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1800. Accentuate a grand hallway with a superb flower arrangement upon this fine circular table Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order Select walnut stocks present fine grain interest throughout Deep caramel hues beam beneath a quality, wax polish finish Generous width to the top, decorated with a relief-carved scrolled border Tilting top, released with a brass clasp and dressed with a protective cushion pad Turned baluster column with twist finish to the bulb carving Raised upon a broad trio of cabriole legs, terminating in slipper feet This is a superb antique display table, the generous size ideal for the grand entrance hall, adorned with a striking flower arrangement. Well suited to occasional use, with the wide, tilting top. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
