Italian 19th Century Louis XVI Style Patinated and Giltwood Center/Dining Table
About the Item
A unique and extremely decorative Italian 19th century Louis XVI style patinated, giltwood and faux painted marble center or dining table. The table is raised by elegant baluster shaped legs with beautiful spiral fluted designs, acanthus leaves and unique pierced scrolled designs with entrelac patterns. The apron displays a striking Les Oves pattern framed within a fine twisted ribbon band and centered by a foliate giltwood reserve also repeated at each side and on the back. Above is a wonderfully executed faux painted Sienna marble top with decorative carved geometric fillets framed within a most decorative green marble border with a mottled edge.
