Mexican Neoclassic Table with pedestal & a star-shaped decoration on its top

About the Item

"Table inspired by Mexican neoclassical pedestal furniture. During the 18th and 19th centuries Mexico experienced a period of stylistic and cultural transition. Neoclassicism was a predominant artistic and architectural movement that was inspired by the shapes and ideals of ancient Rome and Greece. This table reflects the influence of Neoclassicism in its design and structure. The pedestal, characteristic of neoclassical tables, is a central column that supports the top and rests on a four-legged base. The top has a star-shaped decoration."
