About the Item
Rectangular coffee table by the famous Italian designer Paolo Piva from the 1970s edited by B&B Italia, Alanda model. It is composed of a glass top and a black lacquered tubular geometric metal base.
Paolo Piva (Adria, Italy, 1950- 2017) was an Italian architect and designer known for his innovative and functional designs. He studied at the University of Venice, under Professor Carlo Scarpa, specializing in the visual field. He worked on international projects in Vienna and Modena during the 1970s. In 1987, he received the prestigious XIII Compasso D'Oro award. Since 1988, he was an associate professor at the Akademie für Angewandten Kunst in Vienna.
