Pair of Tables in Empire Style with Ebonized Inlaid and Gilded "Ram's Foot" Legs
About the Item
Pair of round tables in Empire style with three ebonized "ram's foot" legs with carved and gilded details representing typical elements of the Empire period such as Egyptian heads and snakes.
The wooden parts are veneered in cherry wood.
Very beautiful are the interlocking tops in scagliola with inlays, in the middle there is the representation of a warrior and at the edges a Greek and an inlay with floral volutes.
Excellent condition, no restoration needed.
Provenance: Central Italy
Epoch: 18th century; mid 19th century.
Measures: Diameter 82 cm, height 80 cm.
