Provençal Green Center Console table, polychrome, 50's - 60's - France
About the Item
Exceptional table of French origin and Provencal style, made in the media of the previous century in wood. The table was raised on one of the slender legs, which aligned with the visual weight of the oversize piece. It is made of washed wood, and has a mixed profile with the same sides. The rest of the structure is polished in green, has a large central register and back of small, one and all. The most original part of this table is that no single edge, if not all of its sides have the same curved and sinuous outline, it gives to the Table a great dynamism. The handles and the hoofs of the edges legs are made in bronze sparkled and over gilded
The Provencal style, which originates from the Provenza region, to the south of France, is characterized by its rustic and romantic aspect. It was inspired by the natural beauty of its original home, rural spaces, vineyards, flower camps… The preferred material is wood, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment, . The decoration is excellent in floral style, and this piece consists of bringing together the most characteristic elements.
It,s a gorgeous piece for any space , creating a romantic and very French atmosphere.
