About the Item
An impressive and exceptionally rare square coffee table attributed to Alfredo Freda for Cittone Oggi.
As it can be seen in the 1975 magazine advertisement of the Cittone Oggi the table bears many similarities making it almost identical, from the base to the brass tray and the table surface.
The brass layered base supports the green turquoise lacquered wood where it surrounds a brass centre tray.
Beautiful table and very pleasing in the eye with a colour that not often seen in the market!
As this piece is from the 1970s, there is some wear to be expected - in the form of the odd scratch here or there on the surface. Some patina on the brass surfaces. But the overall condition is good, considering its age.
