Atelier APS, Malachite Low Table

About the Item

The Malachite Low Table is the perfect accent with hand carved, stained ash wood, and resin. It is a theoretical amalgamation of organic and inorganic, the flowing concentric malachite rings allude to the natural growth of trees. This table so far has only been created once, this being the only example. Antonio Pio Saracino is a registered Italian Architect and Designer, member of the OAR, Association of Professional Architects in Rome. In 2013, he established the multi-disciplinary design practice APS Designs Inc. in New York City. Saracino's work features designed buildings, residential interiors, commercial interiors, furniture, and public art. His work is exhibited in the permanent collections of several museums, including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the LACMA Museum in Los Angeles, the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the Museum of Art and Design in New York, and the MAAS Museum in Sydney.
