About the Item
This coffee table was designed by its designer to play as much as possible with the light effects of rye straw.
The top is entirely inlaid with a pattern which captures the light enormously and gives unique effects of relief and depth.
The pattern extends to the sides as well.
Two niches in oak (satin varnish) have been designed to store books or magazines without worrying about damaging the marquetry and allowing you to fully enjoy its reflections.
The interior uprights of the niches also recall the pattern with marquetry. Which was a real feat to mark with such precision in these small spaces.
The whole is elegantly enhanced by a solid oak base which gives style to this long and narrow table.
Unique piece, dated and signed by the artist.
