Extremely Rare George Nakashima Milk House Coffee Table
About the Item
Some of Nakashima's earliest works were created immediately following his release from a World War II U.S. concentration camp in Idaho. These early works demonstrate Nakashima's early interest in modernist design, as well as a relationship in his work to historic examples of Japanese and Shaker furniture.
These have not been refinished. They are untouched in their original state, created in walnut with rosewood butterfly key design.
Note: we have the matching side tables, also extremely rare.
