This is a unique coffee table made of Bog Oak, which is approximately 7,000 years old. The wood originates from Romania and has been buried underground for around 7,000 years. It remains intact due to being sealed off from oxygen, preventing decay. Not only is it an incredibly strong type of wood, but it is also considered one of the most exclusive wood species in the world. The colours present in the tabletop are a result of the soil in which the tree trunk was immersed. The tree grew alongside a riverbed. As the river meandered, the tree was preserved due to the marshy ground that lacked oxygen.
