Hailing from a skilled artisan of Italy, this exceptional coffee table reflects the design principles of the Mid-Century era that rose to prominence in the 1950s. The design serves as a testament to the designer's superb discernment in creating aesthetically pleasing forms and harmonic compositions. This coffee or cocktail table has strong characteristics that immediately remind of the work of prominent Italian designers. The shape of the surface, the beautiful detailed inlay of a bronze star on the table top, are traits that are used by contemporaries like Fabrizio Clerici, Luigi Scremin, Luigi Saita, Paolo Buffa, Gio Ponti, Osvaldo Borsani and Guglielmo Ulrich. The elegant legs simply attract the viewers attention, and are typical in their shape for design of the 1950s.
