This gorgeous Mid-Century Modern coffee table originated in Italy in the 1970s, and was imported to the UK in the early 2010s. is a stunning piece of furniture that combines durability and elegance in equal measure. The table features sleek, steel chrome legs that provide a sturdy foundation for the piece, while the iron frame to support this amazing marble mosaic tabletop. Four polished solid steel chrome legs support a black iron frame, atop which sits a marble table top. The table top fits snugly up against the chrome legs creating a pleasingly sturdy surface for any living room centrepiece. The tabletop is made from quarry marble offcuts in various sizes and qualities and later filled with resin creating this mosaic effect which gives the piece a sophisticated, high-end look. A popular technique in mid-century Italy – and as such is a tessellated mix of yellow, brown, and green hues. The patterns on the tabletop with its natural beauty of the marble makes it easy to maintain. The rectangular shape of the coffee table is both practical and stylish, providing ample surface area for drinks, books, and other decorative items.
