Rare and elegant Mid-Century Modern round coffee table with cane shelf. Sculpted V-shaped legs in dark solid teak. Designed by renowned Danish architect Kurt Østervig in the early 1950s. Perhaps the most beautiful coffee table ever designed in the golden age of Scandinavian furniture design.
Amazing and expressive rosewood grain on the tabletop. A very rare find in this condition.
Exceptional good original condition. A few cane strands have been replaced. Gently cleaned and polished. Ready for use.
