Stunning 21st Century Hoop cantilevered low cocktail or coffee table by J. Wade Beam for Brueton. Comprised of a cylindrical stainless-steel base with an ivory colored marble inset and a frosted oval glass top. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, It does have small signs of use and age, so it is not unflawed but nothing outstanding. This is an incredibly handsome modern coffee or cocktail table from the premier provider of cutting edge designs for to-the-trade furnishings to architects and designers, the renowned Brueton. This Hoop Low Cocktail Table was designed by J. Wade Beam and is part of his incredible legacy. It is comprised of a cylindrical stainless-steel base filled with concrete that is capped by a gorgeous ivory colored inset of marble, which provides the form from which an elliptical piece of oval shaped frosted glass is cantilevered in a gravity defying display. WOW!!!! It is nothing short of magnificent. It is going to be STUNNING in your Modern living or family room, but it would be just as fabulous in a Mid-Century Modern, Industrial, Minimalist, or Maximalist setting. Trust me, your cocktails never had it so good!!!
J. Wade Beam spent several years with the legendary Dunbar Furniture Company leaving them to become Design Director and VP of Sales and Marketing at Brueton Industries, Inc. of New York. His work at Brueton has contributed much to the modern designs of the later part of the 20th century into this wonderful 21st century.
