Pair of mid-century minimalistic side tables or coffee tables in brown-grey marb
About the Item
On offer here is a fantastic pair of grey-brown marble side tables or coffee tables made in France in the 1960s. The tables have a white Carara marble base and are covered with diagonally placed tiles in solid Fossil brown marble. This marble species has many fossil inclusions and is also known as Bruno Etrusco, Fossil Marrone, Marron Etrusco, and Jurassic Sea stone. The heavily textured marble combines beautifully with the tables' sleek and minimalistic square shape. Both tables are fitted with small wheels that raise the tables slightly, giving them a floating appearance and letting them be moved around with ease. The tablers were gently cleaned in our atelier. The fossil stone was polished to obtain a beautiful gloss. The tables are solid and ready for use.
