TISSI Midcentury Polished Travertine Marble & Glass Coffee Table Original 80's Spain The TISSI coffee table is 1980’s original from the beginnings of the Spanish marble design company. The piece has a contemporary design, since despite being an original Midcentury table; it has a timeless design that today is still compatible with current trends in decoration and interior design. Tiss consists of a simple structure of travertine marble in polished finish making an elongated "H" shape. On its surface, added to a small subtle recess in the stone, slides a glass that functions as a coffee table top. Thus, the Tissi coffee table consists of a glass top and in turn, a wide magazine rack made of polished travertine marble. Spanish designer Joaquín Moll designed Tissi. The Tissi table was part of the company's first catalog in the 1980s, and the piece offered for sale at 1stdibs is an original stock piece from the late 1980s era. An original Midcentury travertine marble coffee table with a design that is nevertheless perfectly contemporary. The simplicity of the lines and perfect proportion make this coffee table an exceptional piece of furniture original to the era. A unique piece has a large and reasonable size for the center of the living room. The polished finish of the material, very common in the 80's and 90's era brings a lot of brightness to the space, as polished Roman travertine is a very light-reflective material.
