This is a vintage coffee table. An English, oak decorative lounge table in the manner of Robert Thompson 'Mouseman', dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970. Delightful coffee table with a distinctive aesthetic appeal Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order Quality oak presents light caramel hues and fine grain interest Fascinating adzed top, legs and stretcher rail with a faceted, tactile finish Of good proportion, with a well-sized table top, ideal for central placement Pair of distinctive shaped legs with carved details Standing upon shaped trestle feet, united with a stout stretcher rail Unmarked as such, but in the manner and finish of 'Mouseman' - Robert Thompson (1876 - 1955) This is a fine vintage coffee table, with a wonderfully decorative appeal and superb craftsmanship redolent of the Arts & Crafts movement and Robert Thompson.
