About the Item

This elegant coffee table was made in Denmark during the 1960s. It is made of high-quality, precious rosewood in a dark shade of brown. This noble kind of wood has an exceptionally dynamic, clear and consistent graining. The table has a shelf attached with brass elements. It also has a pull-out top finished with formica in black. The base is made of wooden legs, also made of rosewood, with a shade slightly contrasting with the shade of the top. The table is characterized by high-quality precision of workmanship. The Scandinavian idea of functionalism and a strong emphasis on aesthetics perfectly reflect the philosophy of the Mid-Century Modern era.
