Vintage Set Forged Bronze Tables Attributed Lothar Klute, 1980s, Germany
About the Item
Brutalist tables made of forged bronze and cast glass from the 1980s This forging process of bronze is a bronze alloy developed by Lothar Klute.
In modern times, the production of such tables would be impossible for reasons of cost and performance.
3 cm thick glass
Dimensions:
Center table:
51 x 52 cm - 45 cm high
Semicircular tables:
64 cm x 65 cm - 49 cm high
The tables have signs of use, in the form of chips back of the plate. The middle table is completely intact and in perfect condition.
We would like to point out only the small defects that correspond to the normal use of the time. The other table offered and sold so far have had comparable signs of use.
The imperfections have been sanded out and polished, and one imperfection has been glued back on.
In the production process of these brutalist bronze tables in pure handwork, small defects and pronounced traces of manufacture are already characteristic features that distinguish these table. Thus, future traces of use will not be visually noticeable.
