Extreme precision is required to construct the beautiful latticed frame of the Zither Lattice Coffee Table. Crafted by hand, this coffee table is the culmination of decades of mastery of the art of Chinese joinery. Each solid hardwood piece is carefully measured and cut before being assembled without the use of nails or screws. The strong planes and detailing of this coffee table make it a perfect living room centerpiece to gather around. Available in 60", 72", and 80" lengths.
Inspired by the graceful lines of traditional Chinese window lattice-work, the Zither Collection is a quiet, elegant take on the beautiful linear motifs and patterns found in classical Chinese homes. Eschewing nails and screws, each piece is constructed by hand using the art of Chinese joinery. Solid Makata hardwood, known for its soft sheen and rich grain, is used in the Zither Collection, adding depth, character, and beauty. The wood species has a beautiful variety of grain patterns that creates a unique, flowing variation in color tone and visual markings throughout each piece.
