A characterful 19th century Chinese console table, finished in deep red and black lacquer, offering a striking decorative presence for a curated interior, hallway, or living room setting. The piece combines traditional craftsmanship with beautifully aged surfaces, resulting in a console rich in texture, warmth, and historic authenticity.
The long rectangular top displays the natural movement of age and use, with visible timber lines, worn lacquer, and a mellowed sheen that speaks to its 19th-century origins. The four drawers are framed within a subtly projecting front, each decorated with inset panels featuring delicate chinoiserie-style floral motifs in black lacquer, softened by time and retaining an appealing depth of colour.
