Chinese Elm Sang de Bœuf Console Table with Carved Apron

About the Item

A Chinese elm wood altar console table, probably 19th century, with sang de bœuf patina and carved floral apron. This exquisite altar console table features a dark red lacquered finish, complimenting the lines beautifully. The rectangular top is sitting on an elegant apron, beautifully adorned with floral-carved motifs. The table is raised on four straight legs connected to one another on each side with a side stretcher in the upper section. With its clean lines, dark red patina and skillfully carved décor, this elm Chinese 19th century console table will bring an exotic presence to any living room, hallway or foyer.
