About the Item

Circa 1770-90 demilune tea table, George III period, English. Mahogany & mahogany veneers. Single swing leg to support the open surface. Square, tapered legs with stringing on three sides and inlaid cuffs to mimic spade feet. The front line inlays in ovolo form to complement the cavetto stringing of the three curved friezes 36" w., 17.5" d. (closed, 35 3/8" open), 29.5" h.
