About the Item
Dating from the Victorian period and likely being made in England is a unique and decorative demilune style accent table or candle stand. The pedestal legs and upper frame are carved walnut and the tabletop is inlaid with a decorative design. The painted glass panel is done in amber and cream in a check plate motif style design. It is quite possible that this unique piece is a marriage of a Victorian washstand with an inlaid tabletop from another period piece that has resulted in this highly decorative and very unique accent table.

Some wear to veneer on the rear of the glass surround and some wear to one area of the pedestal as presented in the photos. There is one spot of discoloration to the front edge of the table top.
