Vintage Chinese Faux Bamboo Demi-Lune Console Table with Landscape Décor

About the Item

A vintage Chinese demilune console table from the Mid-20th Century with faux bamboo, dark brown patina and hand painted décor. Created in China during the Midcentury period, this demilune console table features a trapezoid top, adorned with a beautiful landscape made of architectures, bridges, mountains and trees. Delicate ribbons accentuate the corners while a frieze of meanders frames the ensemble. The recessed apron is painted with scrolling foliage. The table is made of faux bamboo perfectly complimented by a dark brown lacquer accented with golden colored painted touches. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through a side stretcher. With its clean lines and skillfully executed décor, this Chinese demilune console table from the Mid-20th Century will bring an undeniable touch of exotic elegance to any home, placed in a living room or foyer, perhaps anchored with a gilded mirror.
