19th Century Chippendale Style Mahogany Pedestal Desk

About the Item

A very fine 19th century Chippendale style mahogany pedestal desk. The rectangular top with inset green tooled leather writing surface and carved moulded edge, above three frieze drawers. The twin pedestals fitted with three graduated drawers. The desk having an arrangement of nine graduated mahogany lined drawers with the original brass swan neck handles. All raised on very elegant carved ogee bracket feet. The measurements are: Height: 76cm (29.9in) Width: 137cm (53.9in) Depth: 76cm (29.9in)
