19th Century Metamorphic Syrian Writing Table

About the Item

19th Century metamorphic Syrian writing table, the duel hinged top lifting up and folding over to reveal the rising writing desk top to reveal a green baize writing surface, various drawers and compartments, the whole table is profusely inlaid all over with highly decorative inlay, decorative coloured shapes, and all in excellent condition, a single frieze drawer at the front and supported on square tapering legs united by rear and side stretchers. Circa 1860. Please note: Registered as exempt under the Ivory Act 2018.
