Antique 19th Century Bow Front Inlaid Mahogany Desk, serving as both a writing surface and dressing table, featuring a lovely classical late Georgian design.
This fine-quality piece exhibits no loose joints and is brimming with character and charm, making it a rare and attractive find. The oak-lined drawer operates smoothly, adorned with original brass handles.
Crafted with selected mahogany veneers on a mixed wood construction, it offers a captivating aesthetic.
With overall dimensions of 90.5cm in width, 49cm in depth, and a height of 73cm (with a knee hole measuring 54 to 57cm due to its shaped apron), this desk is versatile for various spaces. There is no key and the lock is untested.
In good antique condition, it bears historic knocks, marks, cracks, repairs, alterations, wear, and imperfections, including a few treated historic extinct woodworm holes.
