Antique Italian Patch Burl Desk
About the Item
Hand-made Italian bombe burl bureau plat (writing desk) in the style of Louis XV. Patch olive and walnut burl with parquetry border on body of desk and each drawer. Curved forms are complimented by cabriole legs. Thought to be late 19th to mid-20th century.
Good antique to vintage condition typical of age and use, with some lifting at the seams.
