Exceptional Bronze Mounted French Writing Table
About the Item
A very well-made French desk with lovely chosen and contrasting woods, serpentine form and bronze mounts on the corners, legs and feet with the top edges also bronze clad. The drawer fronts have bronze framing and traditional French pulls, and the writing surface is a conforming gilt-embossed Black leather. The Writing Table has excellent proportions and is finished on both front and back so can float if desired.
Condition: Please see all detail photos. The overall condition is good with some age-related finish losses mostly to the top surface which do not detract from the Regal presentation. Key is included.
