A Fabulous French 3-Drawer Desk w/Scallop-Carved Edge Top, Floatable
About the Item
A French bleached-wood desk with three drawers. This vintage table from France features an overall rectangular shaped top which has been nicely emphasized with scallop-carved edges about all four sides, giving this piece a shapely and fluid design style. The apron houses a slender middle drawer flanked by a pair of drawers at each far side that dip downward at the lower corners, for a total of three paneled drawers; each fitted with brass hardware. The table is raised upon four exuberant cabriole legs, with outlined and volute carvings down their front sides. This wood has a bleached finish with a complimentary cream tone trim accent. Leg clearance between the floor and apron is approximately 25 inches. This French three-drawer desk is has matching raised panels fronts decorating the opposing side of this desk, which allows this piece to be floated nicely within a room.
