A Queen Anne style writing desk by Henkel Harris, of Winchester, Virginia, USA. Solid mahogany with a distressed finish, decorative brass hardware, an ogee edge to the top, brass rail gallery, cabriole legs, and pad feet. Features one large lockable center drawer with a fixed wood pen/pencil holder, flanked by two smaller drawers, all of dovetail construction. Includes one key. Made circa 1974.
