Exceptional oak desk by Jacques Quinet, the original model made for the office of the mayor of Marseilles. Great use of restrained opposing curves in the legs and the waterfall style sides. three blind drawers and a leather wrapped insert. Finished on all sides to be floated in the middle of the room.
present example bears a stencil “Delanoë” which was the name of a French politician.
