Louis XVI style Mahogany Tric Trac / Writing table
About the Item
Antique Louis XVI style mahogany brass mounted tric trac / writing table, 19th century. Removeable mahogany top inset with faux leather, frieze with brass mounted drawers, drawer on the right side pulls out the center and left drawer fronts are decorative and do not pull out, false drawer fronts on the back side. The turned fluted tapered legs ending in brass sabots. When the top is removed there is a backgammon playing surface on the inside. The backgammon playing surface is bone and faux malachite.
