Mid-Century Teak and White Lacquered Desk by R-Way

In the 1950s, the teak wood was reserved for the top line of American furniture. This teak and lacquer desk made by RWAY (American manufactory) has been nicely refinished. Natural wood highlights in clear lacquer stand out like never before. The hardware’s in aluminium all original have been polish. This beautiful Scandinavian style desk will delight your senses. As Eliel Saarinen, architect designer and Eero’s Saarinen father, spent time at RWAY, perhaps this desk is one of his works as this piece reflects a real Danish design.
