About the Item
Wonderful pair of mid-century organic trestles in a beautiful combination of bamboo, curved rattan and hand-woven wicker. These stunning and unique trestles were designed by Vivai del Sud and produced in Italy during the 1970s.
In fabulous condition and with an amazing honey-like color. These sturdy trestles are made in bamboo canes enriched on the bottom with curved rattan and perfect hand-woven wicker work.
Ideal to make a charming desk or also for dining table or a console table in a modern organic entryway. A must have for all the French Riviera style lovers.
These versatile trestles are ideal as a charming modern organic desk or to complement a French Riviera style project with a unique dining or console table.
The glass top in the photos is for show purposes and is not included, under request we can include a custom made glass top. The trestles are sturdy enough to hold a way large glass top.

18th C. Italian Walnut Trestle Leg & Iron Stretcher Table 'or Desk'
Located in Atlanta, GA
An Italian wood trestle-leg table with forged-iron stretcher bars, from the 18th century. This antique table from Italy has clean, simple lines, and features a rectangular-shaped top, raised upon a pair of trestle sawhorse-style legs, with a wood brace supporting them just above the feet. The underside of the table is braced by a pair of hand-forged and twisted iron stretchers, which meet at the underside center of the top, creating visual interest and further embellishment to this piece. The walnut wood has has a warm patina with some cracks and prior repairs (see additional images) ; a reflection of it's history and age. The iron stretcher pieces unhook from beneath and allowing the legs to fold down- making the table collapsible and easy for transport. Leg clearance is approximately 28" between skirt and floor.
