About the Item

We delighted to offer for sale this stunning burr and flamed walnut large 16 drawer double sided twin pedestal partner desk for two people to share A very heavy well made luxury twin partner desk, based on the original idea of two legal partners sitting either side and sharing a desk. This piece is really quite monumental, it is as solid and heavy as I have ever seen for its size, the desk has a lot of high-end details, its premium burr walnut to the drawer fronts and flamed walnut to the main panels, the sides of the desk have pillars, the desk top leather has been split into three sections, the drawers are solid wood lined, all the handles are original apart from one replacement, each side has seven normal drawers and one double filing drawer, this desk is very nice. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, as you can see one side of the desk leather has patina wear from normal use, otherwise there will be the odd mark here or there, mostly it’s a lovely desk in great condition Dimensions: Height 76cm Width 164cm Depth 101cm Legroom height 60.5cm, width 65cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition: Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
