About the Item
Orix desk, Vittorio Parigi & Nani Prina, Molteni & Co, Italy, circa 1970. "You write on it and I read on it, but she mirrors, the other puts away his books, while they study and they play; however, you put it in the hall and he puts away the bills. We send it around in a box that is not even big, which encloses the plastic top, the steel frame, the glass closing top and the convenient lamp. It is called Orix multipurpose desk, it can be red, black, mustard, blue or green." This was how the only ABS furniture produced by Molteni&C in the 1970s was presented. Orix was accompanied by a small chair characterized by a colored ABS monocoque and an aluminum "cantiliver" frame.
